Can I just use an online senior community referral service?

Online referral services can be helpful, but there are several important considerations:

1. They’re not local experts. National referral companies often lack first-hand knowledge of local communities and rely on publicly available information

2. You may get overwhelmed with calls. After submitting your info, your contact details may be shared with 10–20+ senior communities, leading to a flood of calls from sales reps.

3. They limit your future options. Once your information is submitted, these companies may claim exclusive referral rights with those communities — which can restrict your ability to work with a local advisor later, even years down the road.

How is a senior placement advisor compensated for their services?

At Coventry Care, our services are always 100% free to families.

We are compensated by the senior community after your loved one moves in. This is based on a pre-existing agreement between Coventry Care and the facility — never at your expense.

 

We believe in full transparency, and we’ll always disclose our relationships with communities so you can make the most informed decisions possible.

Am I limited to communities Coventry Care has a contract with?

Not at all.

In fact, 80–90% of senior living communities in Arizona work with outside placement advisors. Most rely on advisors like us to connect with families who need guidance.

In rare cases where a facility doesn’t work with placement consultants, we’ll still include that option if it’s a good fit — and we’ll help you connect with them.

What if I find a senior living community on my own?

That’s completely fine!

You’re never restricted to only communities we recommend. If you discover a community through a friend, online research, or another source, we’re still happy to support you through the process, offering insights, questions to ask, and help evaluating whether it’s a good match.
